Travis Smith: BUILDING A MONSTER
Exclusive Video of the New Signature Kit In preparation for The Black Crusade Tour with Machine Head and the official unveiling of his new Ddrum Signature Kit, Trivium drummer Travis Smith stopped by Ddrum HQ to design a rack worthy of supporting a MONSTER! We happened to have our camcorder with us that day and captured the whole thing on video. Travis unveiled the kit during the 2007 Family Values tour, and has since taken it with him for the Black Crusade, a cross-continental tour featuring Machine Head (with Ddrum Artist Dave McClain on drums) and a host of some of the most brutal acts in metal. A limited number of Travis' Signature Drum Kits and snare drums are now available at select Ddrum dealers in the USA and Europe. The kit features birch/basswood shells, our Arrowhead lug with gun-metal-plated hardware, and a custom rusted metal graphic that Travis personally designed (wrapped on each drum with the help of our friends at Rockenwraps).
