Last weekend, we hosted our first ever ddrum Syndicate Party in Tampa Bay, FL. It was a massive success due to the many people who worked very hard to coordinate this fantastic event. The Syndicate was created to give ddrum owners the chance to connect with the staff here at drum, as well as the many amazing artists on our roster that we endorse. And on Friday night at the Kapok Pavilion in Clearwater, that is exactly what happened. The night opened up with some food, mingling, and music while drummers filled the venue. Drummers of all ages were present and able to meet and greet with drum greats like Ray Luzier, Carmine Appice, Third Richardson, John Humphrey, Brent East, Big Mike Clemons, Will Hunt and many more!

As the night progressed we heard performances and solos by Brent Easton, Big Mike Clemons, Third Richardson, and Ray Luzier. All of these drummers showed off some wicked chops and really inspired all the drummers in the building.. including their fellow roster mates. It was a great feeling to pull together the ddrum family under one roof! That is what the staff here at ddrum wants- one big happy drum family playing great sounding, amazing looking drums and having a great time! By the end of the scheduled performances- drummers were chomping at the bit to jam on the kits on stage… and we had some of our finest drums on stage…. The Dios Satin Fade, The Dios M series in Red Sparkle and Pearl, and a Coffee Bubinga USA Custom kit were all tuned up and ready to jam. One by one drummers took turns hopping into a massive thunderous wood shedding session. Ddrum artists, staff, and syndicate members all played side by side having a blast!

Other than our incredible scheduled artist performances, there were so many amazing highlights to the evening that I can't possibly list them all. Some amazing young talent hopped on stage and wowed the crowd…. Lil Mike- crushing the drums at only age 15… and a 10-year-old girl named Nat DePergola jammed out with Third Richardson demonstrating some astounding abilities at such a young age. It was a fantastic night filled with drumming, giveaways, good food, and awesome people.

On Saturday, we had an open house here at Ddrum HQ in Tampa, FL. Syndicate members were given a building tour and hands on demonstrations of the full drum line. In addition, our product specialist Gary Ingraffia hosted a great Q&A session talking about our current products and plans for the future. More drumming commenced after hearing from our special guests from Sabian, Matt and Terry. A few of our artists even popped in before heading out of town to hang with the drum crew and Syndicate members.

Special thanks to Sabian Cymbals, Custom Drum Sticks, and GrooveJuice Cymbal Cleaner for bringing their products to the event!

We have a lot more pics and videos coming - so check back soon for the next update on the ddrum Syndicate Party!!
