Coming from a family of musicians, Shawn was exposed to music at a very early age. From the time he was eight, he knew he wanted to be a musician and he got his first drum set at the age of 12. Shawn's brother and Megadeth guitarist, Glen Drover also showed a strong interest in music at a very early age. Shawn and Glen have been playing together for over twenty five years and have been with Megadeth since 2004.
